There are not many approaches dealing with the complex problem in overparenting prevention in the EU, and the existing approaches are not very defined and lack qualitative information, so getting and finding helpful information consumes a lot of time to process the data. Our results will be useful for a broad spectrum through the teaching profession and parents, beyond the time of the project.
Our research showed that overparenting is a common problem in the US and Canada, but almost none evidence in solving this problem in the EU. Overparenting lacks definitions, so it's often mistaken with healthy involvement of parents, putting parents in stress situations which could be avoided if guided correctly. We will develop a manual with good practices on how to raise mentally healthy and independent children, and introduce a unique created FREE KIDS e-learning portal with all facts regarding overparenting, lessons, guidelines for good parenting and blogs.
